Martin's Home & Garden

I absolutely love Matin's Garden Center. There is nothing like it at all here in Hendersonville so I have to drive an hour south to Murfreesboro just to get flowers for my baskets and planters. Prices are not bad at all, especially near the end of the season. The annuals were buy one get one free for many (not all). I'll always take the ride for the best selection, do the same, you will not be disappointed.

Martin’s Home & Garden honestly felt like the Disney World of garden places! I have been wanting to go for a while, and I finally made it over there. It was absolutely wonderful. They had so much variety, everything was beautiful, and the people were so sweet and helpful. They also had a really good sale going on, which was dangerous for someone like me who keeps saying I do not need any more plants. Clearly, that was a lie. I honestly don’t think I’ll be running to the big garden stores like that anymore. I would much rather bring my love of gardening here and support a place that feels local, welcoming, and full of life. Such a great experience!

An amazing selection of healthy, vibrant plants—truly a horticultural paradise that feels like a kid in a candy store. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the business itself is top-notch with generations of experience. This isn’t your average run-of-the-mill shop; it’s a valued and integral part of the community.

I wish I would have just googled garden center two weeks ago when I wanted to start a garden. It would have saved me driving around to about five different places! I just found Martins yesterday and decided to check it out. They had everything and more than I wanted! Different suppliers, several options for any type of species of garden produce. I kept walking up and down aisle saying “I’ve found nirvana” to myself! lol! So yeah, I would recommend a visit! update: I went again today and they have a store! With all sorts of goodies! I bought some fresh eggs and a loaf of sourdough bread. I should have taken a picture or video of the inside of the little store. They had popcorn kernels and cookies, honey and coffee plus gifts and jams and preserves! Just too many things to remember! Please go there!

Martin’s Home and Garden really does a good job at making this place feel welcoming to all. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledge, with some very helpful answers as I tried to explore putting more edible plants around my house and yard. Thankfully for me and my wallet, everything was very reasonably priced for how healthy all the plants appeared to be. After planting the blackberries and raspberries, they have greened up easily and are seemingly taking root well. Here’s to picking up more fruit trees next season!
